Colorful & Crazy Locker Clip Craft Great Middle School Locker Idea

This locker clip idea is super easy and will make the most fantastic locker clips for your high school locker. This locker craft is as simple as your child can make it. My kids have spent hours creating a complete set of locker clips. In another case, it took only 15 minutes.

DIY LOCKER CLIPS

This locker clip craft is as fun, wild, and silly as middle schoolers. This is a great craft to do with friends before you return to school. Make it with friends or create extra locker clips for friends to give as gifts.

DIRECTIONS FOR MAKING LOCKER CLIPS

Step 1

Decorate the sides of your clothespins with permanent markers or paint markers.

We also added triangle teeth, swirls, stars, zebra stripes, and polka dots to the Polka dots.

Step 2

Once decorated, attach the magnetic tape to your clothespin locker clip. You can reinforce the adhesive with the glue gun if the self-adhesive isn’t holding as well as you want.

OUR EXPERIENCE MAKING LOCKING CLIPS

It was great to have a conversation about matching. Hearing what my middle schooler was excited about for the next year and her concerns. Kids love to talk while working.

Each moment was a treasure! Paint pens are fast drying, which is why I love them. In just a few minutes, you can add layers of color.
