Simple Pencil Vase Craft – Perfect for Back to school

BACK TO SCHOOL VASE CRAFT

This craft involves a hot glue gun, so it is best to have adult supervision. My elementary school-aged child enjoyed this craft and loved the precision required to add the pencils using a glue gun.

Materials Required to Make Pencil Vase Craft

  • 15-20 No. 2 pencils with erasers
  • One clean, dry tin can ( sand all sharp edges).
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • You can fill your pencil vase with silk flowers, candy, or gift cards.

DIRECTIONS TO DIY PENCIL VASE

Step 1

To begin, place a pencil parallel to the tin can. This will allow you to see the areas where glue should be applied.

If you have to, mark with a marker or pencil. If your pencils have an eraser, the eraser will be towards the bottom.

Step 2

Next, apply glue to one end of the pencil. Make a straight line.

Step 3

The press immediately against the can. For a few seconds, press down.

Step 4

Continue with the other pencils.

Pencil Holder

This pencil craft is a classic one. It uses only school supplies such as No. To make a vase or pencil holder, you will need 2 Pencils and colored pencils. This is an excellent project for kids of all ages. They can make it and give it as gifts or use it at home to store school supplies.

INSTRUCTIONS

  3. Use a pencil and a bit of glue to make a paste.
  4. Hold the pencil on the outside of the tin container for a few seconds until it is secure.
  5. Continue this process until the entire tin can is covered.
  6. You can add whatever you like inside.
